As a branch manager for Dakota County Library, Barbara Svoboda balances her work between providing thought-provoking programming for the local community and supporting staff growth throughout the library system. She is a member of the Equity & Diversity Learning Circle cohort, and has also participated as part of the library's Community Conversations steering group. She was a participant in the 2017 ALA Leadership Institute and a former committee chair for the MN Library Association's annual conference.
