Community engagement depends upon partnerships with diverse stakeholders. As partners, libraries join community organizations to help design and implement programs that bring about social change. State Library Services will share why public libraries make great partners, and how libraries can create valued partnerships and ideas for successful community engagement.

Joe Manion is the State Data Coordinator for State Library Services. He oversees data collection and reporting for the annual Minnesota Public Library Report. He believes in using data to demonstrate the value of public libraries.
