In this session, Alicia will equip us with skills for cultural responsiveness by providing us with:

  • A better understanding of unconscious bias with an awareness of diversity and culture
  • An understanding of the ages and stages of development connected to race and racism
  • Practical skills to begin to talk and address the diverse issues of race, diversity, inclusion and privilege within education
  • A connection of macroaggressions within our everyday life
  • Understand common missing bricks in diversity and inclusion
