Welcome to the 2017 MLA Annual Conference! This year’s theme is Radical Librarianship - the power of libraries to provide access to the truth, strengthen our community voices, create opportunity for exploration and innovation, and assist our patrons to build a better future. Libraries have always been radical, but what does Radical Librarianship mean for us today? Join us at the 2017 MLA Annual Conference to help shape that conversation!

Washington County Library
Collection Development Librarian
Angie Noyes has been on the RART steering committee for a very, very long time. Being on the committee she has realized she will always be an RA practitioner, honing her RA skills, and always learning more. She has worked in libraries since she was a teenager where as a shelver she had nightmares about getting the Dewey numbers wrong. She did overcome those nightmares when she received her MLIS with a focus on being an adult services librarian and not a cataloger.
