Welcome to the 2017 MLA Annual Conference! This year’s theme is Radical Librarianship - the power of libraries to provide access to the truth, strengthen our community voices, create opportunity for exploration and innovation, and assist our patrons to build a better future. Libraries have always been radical, but what does Radical Librarianship mean for us today? Join us at the 2017 MLA Annual Conference to help shape that conversation!

Anne Hatinen

Electronic Resources Librarian
Anne Hatinen works in Cooperative Purchasing and Electronic Resources Services (CPERS) at Minitex. I've been here since 2008, which makes me the newbie in CPERS! Before Minitex, I have played many roles in libraries including: collection development at a book jobber for the K12 library world; eResources in the Harvard University Library; front line circ at MIT; and librarian at a hedge fund in NYC. Non-library Anne? I've edited travel guides and spent a year honing my customer service skills at the front desk of a ski resort (skiing in my off time, of course). And in my spare time, I run, bake, and play goalie (ice hockey!).
