Public Library Consultant
Gail is the Public Library Consultant for Viking Library System, based in Fergus Falls. She is enthusiastic about informational books for children and teens, and recently served with her co-presenter Marge Loch-Wouters on the 2017 Robert Sibert Award Committee to select the most distinguished nonfiction books for children in 2016. She speaks frequently and also writes about children's books, and co-taught a course on picture books at St. Catherine University in 2016. When she doesn't have her nose (or ears) in a book, Gail can be found with her two canines examining tracks and scat along gravel roads in Otter Tail County.
